We blend local Canterbury blackcurrants with Canadian cranberries here on a corner of our original family farm. Over 470 berries go into each bottle to deliver a rich source of antioxidants including vitamin C. These deep purple and rich red berries are steeped in folklore and packed with goodness.

This new look label syrup contains 8% less sugar than our previous recipe.  Customer feedback has told us that it was too sweet so we’ve listened and we think it tastes better than ever. The sugar hasn’t been substituted with anything, it’s just been reduced.

  • Serving Size: 200ml diluted 1 part syrup to 6 parts water
  • One 200ml serve contains 60% of the recommended dietary intake of vitamin C
  • INGREDIENTS: (before dilution) sugar, squeezed Canterbury blackcurrant juice 25%, Canadian cranberry juice 16% from concentrate, water, food acid (citric, sodium citrate), vitamin C.

  • Enjoy hot or cold.
  • Homemade Ham Glaze: In a saucepan, warm together 2 Tbsps of Barker's Blackcurrant & Cranberry fruit syrup and ½ cup Cranberry Jelly until jelly is dissolved. Decorate ham with cloves and glace/dried cherries or cranberries and brush over glaze.
