Sunrise Smoothie
PRINT RECIPE
- Add 1 peeled and chopped banana.
- Replace lime zest with two finely chopped kaffir lime leaves.
- If no blender available, use a food processor.
Try Barker’s Lite Lemon & Barley or Lite Lime for a low calorie alternative (however if using Lite Lime, leave out the zest of lime in the recipe as it won’t be required).
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup Barker’s Lemon & Barley fruit syrup (or gluten free fruit syrups as suggested)
- 1/2 cup natural unsweetened yoghurt
- 2 cups low fat milk
- 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
- grated zest of 1 lime
- 1 cup crushed ice
METHOD
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth and drink immediately.
