Lemon & Basil SmoothiePRINT RECIPE
- Add 1 Tbsp grated lemon zest for an extra ‘zing’.
- Add 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger for even more ‘zing’.
- For a low calorie option try Lite Lemon & Barley fruit syrup.
- 1/2 cup Barker's Lemon & Barley fruit syrup
- 1/2 cup natural unsweetened yoghurt (or coconut yoghurt)
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 20 medium-sized basil leaves
- 1-2 cups chilled water
- Put Barker's syrup and yoghurt and basil leaves and ice into a blender and slowly add chilled water.
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth and drink immediately.
