Squeezing into something new and a little fancy

To celebrate in style, we’ve created a range of premium handcrafted cordials made from squeezed fruits with botanicals.

As you may already know, the Barker family has been crafting locally made condiments for more than 47 years from a corner of the original family farm. We made our first batch of cordial in the summer of 1981 using an abundant supply of Canterbury blackcurrants which we simply squeezed and pressed.

With the careful fruit selection and botanical combination result in a drier, more sophisticated cordial with less sugar which is thirst quenching without being overly sweet. Our customers asked us for a more sophisticated ‘adult’ cordial – especially heading into the festive and entertaining season. So we set about crafting fruit syrups which felt a little bit fancy and would work well with a dash of whatever our customers might fancy.

Wherever possible, we source our fruit from local growers. The new of Squeezed Fruit & Botanicals range follows this ethos, with seasonal fruit selected from Canterbury, Hawke’s Bay and Northland.

The new 500ml premium crafted cordials are available in NZ supermarkets nationwide from 17 October RRP $5.99.
