Pegasys Bay School

After a successful event Pegasus School raised $8000 towards playground for brand new school in new town of Pegasus Bay, north of Christchurch. It replaces Waikuku School which closed after 141 years. Pegasus Bay School is the new home for students and staff from the nearby Waikuku School. It provides full primary education for Year 1-8 children living within Pegasus and the communities nearby. Barker’s provided a gift basket for their quiz night.

Weedons School

A small country school with a roll of 143 students, Weedons School held a quiz night. Only a few large events are held annually to raise funds for the school, and this event raised approx $7,000. We were delighted to be able to spread the love and help.
